Pizzelle
Italian waffle cookies.
Prepare batter.
- Eggs, 4
- Sugar (white), 200 g
- Olive oil (mild), 100 g
- Baking powder, 8 g
- Salt, 4 g
- Fiori di Sicilia, 1/2 tsp
- Flour (00), 400 g
Whisk together everything except flour.
Stir flour into mixture with spatula, and continue mixing until well combined. Batter will be thick.
Bake.
Place dollops onto preheated pizzelle iron. Cook for 20 seconds. Repeat until done.
Top or fill pizzelle as desired.
